Wed, 18/05/2011

ForLinux is delighted to have achieved Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance and to be registered as an approved supplier by both MasterCard and Visa.

The accreditation process is both comprehensive and stringent, evaluating the quality of our hosting environment and internal processes for compliance with the standard. We are now able to offer a complete PCI compliant hosting solution that covers all 12 elements of the requirement.

As part of our continual improvement drive we saw the need to offer a comprehensive PCI compliant hosting solution and have achieved full PCI accreditation. By proving the quality of our systems and hosting environments through professional external accreditation, you can be confident the quality solution and service excellence you are promised will be delivered every time.

PCI DSS is the global security standard set by the Payment Card Security Council. The standard applies to all organisations, regardless of size, that store, process or transmit card holder information. According to the Payment Card Security Council, more than 234 million sensitive information records have been breached globally since January 2005. Failure to comply and subsequent data breaches can have a serious and long term impact on businesses, both financially and through damage to brand reputation.

At ForLinux, we will work with you to build a solution that is compliant, secure, and right for your business leaving you free from time-consuming and costly audit responsibilities and able to focus on your core business.
