Hackers warn NHS over security

 Thursday 9th June Lulz Security, (the hacking group claiming to be behind the Sony compromise) warned the NHS that it had acquired some Administrator passwords, thereby demonstrating it had access to parts of the system.

 

 Certified Ethical Hacker and Technical Director at ForLinux Steve Nice commented “Whilst the group has stated 'We mean you no harm and only want to help you fix your tech issues' this is rarely the case when systems are compromised.

Data and in particular customer data, is a valuable commodity and Companies are rightly protective of it. However, many companies do not have up to date in-house skills or the experience levels needed to implement robust security solutions.
