Technical Director, Steve Nice, interviewed by BBC Radio to advise on Security
Earlier today, Technical Director and Certified Ethical Hacker, Steve Nice, was invited to speak about Internet security on BBC Radio Lincolnshire. After the high profile attacks on Sony and Nintendo, Steve was asked why these attacks happen and what companies can do to prevent them. Steve spoke about the use of commonly available tools from the Internet which are used by both hobbiest and organised criminals to target businesses in order to harvest data for sale. He also spoke about FireSheep, the plugin to Firefox that allows malicous users to capture login cookies for popular social media websites in order to gather data, and how not to trust open Wifi networks.
