Dedicated Server load balancing
If you hadn't come up with that as a potential fix then quite frankly I don't know where we'd be right now! In terms of online orders July was a record month and beat the previous highest record by a considerable distance.
“I must admit it's been excellent since the changes went in a couple of months ago with memcache being a major benefit to us. If you hadn't come up with that as a potential fix then quite frankly I don't know where we'd be right now!
In terms of online orders July was a record month and beat the previous highest record by a considerable distance. I haven't noticed any slowdown with the server at all even when it's at it's busiest, so once again thanks for coming up with that as a solution”
www.everybodysmile.co.uk (EBS) is a large photographic website that require large amounts of disk space for storing its photography client base. ForLinux engineered a solution that spans 5 servers giving EBS a solution that has room to grow and can scale in line with their business. When EBS first came to ForLinux their solution was reaching capacity and they needed a solution that would provide additional growth.
The solution comprises a load balancer, 3 web servers, MemCache server and a NFS file server. ForLinux implemented a NAS (Network Attached Server) running NFS (Network File System) and recommended changes to their application to make use of MemCache.
